Yes! I started reading 'Soulless' by Gail Carriger. It's a funny/fantasy/mystery novel I believe... only just started it but spent most of the time on the balcony gazing at the sea, soaking in the sun and dog-watching :-) Sigh! What a contrast to today's grey day.
What a setting for a nice latte and cupcake - did you stay there all afternoon with a good book?! Just followed the link for the De La Warr Pavilion - fabulous building.
I have received my Persephone Biannually which made for some inspired reading on Saturday; in the sunshine AND sitting on a deckchair!
Cottage Garden: the book got side-lined by the sea and the view... and the delicious rich chocolate cupcake (while it lasted)! I love that you were reading the Biannually in a deck chair (suitably kitted out, I hope?) ;-)
Hannah: Bexhill is such a lovely, calm, beautiful place. It is a breath of fresh air when Hastings gets overcrowed with daytrippers. The De La Warr is such a graceful building and there are always some interesting artworks or music and plays on offer.

How wonderful - my husband's grandparents lived at Bexhill, so I have been there many a time....
This look divine :)
